A WOODLAND HIDEAWAYWASHINGTON STATE
Somewhere worth
getting lost.
Welcome to our valley. A place where the coffee is always hot,
and nothing is quite what it seems.
A LITTLE OFF THE BEATEN PATH
The world can wait.
The coffee’s on.
Step directly into the deep, misty canopy of the Pacific Northwest. Our secluded basecamp is nestled among towering red alders, where your private viewing deck opens up to quiet trails, crackling campfires, and the peaceful sounds of the forest. Unplug from the noise of the world and reconnect with nature.
THE GREAT NORTHERN SUITEUPSTAIRS AT THE ALDER
Stay somewhere
out of the
ordinary.
Warm wood. Crisp sheets. A few rooms you may have heard of, in a place you’ve never been.
The Great Northern Suite

Full wood paneling, a roaring stone fireplace, and views of the falls. For plotting business empires. Or doing absolutely nothing.
KING BED · FALLS VIEW · STONE FIREPLACEThe Red Room

Heavy crimson velvet drapes. A striking black-and-white floor. A place where time moves differently. Dreams come standard.
QUEEN BED · VELVET DRAPES · NO CLOCKThe Blue Pine Cabin

A secluded retreat deep in the woods, with a private porch and the scent of fresh Douglas firs. For those who prefer a little distance.
KING BED · PRIVATE PORCH · FOREST SETTINGRoom 315

Your own little outpost in the valley. Honey-colored wood, a forest-facing window, and a writing desk for observations that can’t wait until morning. The coffee arrives at 7:30.
QUEEN BED · FOREST VIEW · WRITING DESKTHE LODGE COFFEE ROOM
Black coffee.
Cherry pie.
No small thing.
Some rituals deserve your full attention. Ours comes in a heavy white cup, with a slice of cherry pie and absolutely no reason to rush.
Black as midnight on a moonless night. And always another pot on.
Refills encouraged.

WHILE YOU’RE HERE
Follow a trail.
Find a good story.
IN THE MORNING
A very orderly breakfast.
Glazed, chocolate, and old-fashioned donuts, stacked in neat rows in the lobby. Our complimentary morning spread is worthy of the sheriff’s department. Help yourself. The coffee’s already on.
WHEN THE RAIN SETTLES IN
The Bookhouse library.
Find a leather chair and a mystery you can’t put down. The shelves hold regional ghost stories, owl and tree field guides, mystery novels, and books on surrealist cinema. Borrow a book. Lose an afternoon.
AFTER DARK
The Night Owl Lounge.
Pacific Northwest craft beers, locally distilled spirits, and a quiet place to compare notes. Our signature Agent Cooper pairs gin, cardamom, juniper, and local apple cider.
Owl Cave. Glastonbury Grove. The Bookhouse.
A few familiar names. A little room to wander.
WHEN THE WOODS GO QUIET
There’s no place
quite like here.
Come for a weekend. Lose track of the time.
